About me

Dawn Kopman Whidden is a native New York author who grew up in the close-knit community of Little Neck Douglaston during the baby boomer era. She graduated from Queensboro Community college.
Twenty years ago, she traded in her days of living in the bustling city for a more serene and tranquil life on a small farm in the town of Bell, located in North Central Florida.
She is retired and shares her life and love with her husband of fourteen years and an adopted stray dog she named Casey. She has also been blessed with two beautiful grandchildren.

This author had no ambition or desire to fulfill a dream. SInce 3rd grade I wanted to be a writer. I loved to read , but I didn't know if I had what it took to write a novel.. so one day, I woke up at 3 in the morning from a dead disturbing nightmare and sat up, grabbed by computer and began to type It worked for 3 novels... the last 2 getting harder and harder to do.. Now I am trying to write this forth novel and I feel like I'm working with a jigsaw puzzle and I have to put all the pieces together. Trouble is the pieces from the other 3 books look so much alike and belong as part of the new story.. AH.. ITS A DILEMMA!!
